The Wheel of Life by Lindy Shearer

The Wheel of Life is a means to assess those aspects of your life that are out of balance. You may wish to begin your personal change process in these areas.

The Wheel of Life exercise will help to raise your self-awareness and enable you to identify the personal changes you’d like to make to assist you on the path of your personal development plan

It will also provide me with some background information about you before your first consultation should you choose to invest in positve change.

Then, using your Wheel of Life results, ask yourself the following questions for each section in which you have scored lower marks than elsewhere:

  • List three things you’d rather not do or have in that aspect of life.
  • List three things that you really value and appreciate about that aspect of your life.
  • List three things that you really value and appreciate about yourself in relation to that aspect of your life.
  • List three ways that you limit your personal success or effectiveness in that area of your life.

Your Story

Everyone has a story. Like an actor playing a part, if a back-story is provided the actor is better able to understand the role and play the part with greater assurance.

If light is thrown on your back-story it can only help you to understand yourself better; why you made the choices you did, how you came to those decisions, what held you back, what propelled you to action.

You are where you are today because of those choices and decisions, values and beliefs. But where is it that you want to go?

Where are you now in relation to what was?

Your personal journey may have prevented you from being true and connected with who you really are, and your relationship with yourself may have faltered. But we all have brilliance in us, we are all extraordinary, and you are no exception!

Through personal development you will become empowered to live your life according to your core values, applying your talents and skills to realise your full brilliance and to move toward a future you never before imagined.

We cannot change the events of our past but we can change who we are now in relation to it.
